Winter Class Series:

Toys for Thots

About the Series

VIRTUAL: Sundays November 16 + 23 and December 7 + 14 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT. Can’t make class time? Recordings will be sent to students who register in advance.

You can register for the whole series (at a discount) or just the classes you want.

Tis the season for giving and receiving, and we’re doing lots of both! This class series explores the many, many kinds of toys out there and how to use them for kinky and sensual play — from high-end silicone to repurposed home goods to tiny tools for inflicting pain while you travel. Since many folks are traveling this season, the series spans both November and December. (As long as you register in advance, you’ll have access to the recordings until early January.) It’s great for players of all levels, especially those who:

  • love sensation and want tools to enjoy even more of it

  • are newly exploring toys and want to learn what will work best for them

  • want inspiration for kinky gift exchanges, from lavish to budget-friendly

  • want to build a toy bag for the play they love and the discretion they need

These four classes work great together or separately. You get a discount when you register for the full series, and when you register at least a week before class starts.

An Expert’s Guide to Sex Toys
with Dagger

Sunday November 23 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

We live in a golden era when it comes to toys: Independent makers pour shimmering swirls of silicone; unionized factories churn out a dazzling array of body-safe, travel-friendly vibes with deliciously rumbly motors; app-enabled devices let you control a partner’s sensation from across the country; and you can get pretty much any of it delivered right to your door. So how the heck do you figure out what you’ll actually enjoy? Join a former toy salesperson — who literally wrote the book (er, training manual) on helping folks find toys they love — for a deep dive on toys. We’ll learn what’s out there, what’s worth the investment, and what works for your individual body and desires.

Dollar-Store Deviants: Building a Toy Bag with Everyday Objects
with Patty

Sunday December 14 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

Are you interested in toys and play but working with a budget? Patty will share tips on how to make your own collection of “pxrvertables” from common household items and mischievous ways to use them. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting to explore, you can diversify your playbag by creating your own “implements of doom.” Guaranteed you’ll never see kitchen, hardware, or dollar stores the same ever again!

Patty IMsL 2014 (she/her) is a leather butch from Toronto who has taken a few trips around the Knky Block and is honored to hold the title of International Ms Leather 2014. In addition to regularly presenting on various play-related topics, she has also emceed and spoken at a host of leather events. When not doing these things, she plays as hard as she works and is a huge fan of dangerous things wrapped in pretty packages.

What to Expect:

All virtual classes are live on Zoom. You’ll receive everything you need via email as soon as you register. Most are two hours long, including time for Q&A. Can’t make the class time? Classes will be recorded, so if you can’t attend live, you can still get all the info, as long as you register before the class starts. Recordings will be available to watch until the next series of classes begins. After that, the only way to access them will be via the recorded class library on Patreon. (Classes get added there two months after the original series.)

Get Licked! is for everyone: queer, straight, trans, cis, binary, non, monogamous, polyamorous, kinky, vanilla, and all other folks are welcome. Be kind to each other and help each other learn. We are here in community.

Many classes include activities to help you grasp material and build skills. Participation is encouraged, but never required. Listen to your body, and do what feels good for you.
