May Class Series:

Animal Instincts

About the Series

VIRTUAL: Sundays May 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT.

This month we’re sticking our noses into petplay and animal roleplay — a diverse set of practices and play styles where someone steps out of their everyday human self and into the role of a cart-pulling pony, loyal guard dog, feral cat, moon-crazed werewolf, or other imagined animal. Each class explores petplay from a different angle and offers tools and techniques you can put to work in your own scenes right away. The series is great for people (and pets) who:

  • already know the basics and want to go deeper

  • are interested in petplay, but haven’t found a role or play style that “clicks”

  • want to learn “hard skills” like training techniques, structuring scenes, and medfet for pets

  • are excited by roles you don’t see in mainstream petplay, like little/unicorn, scientist/lab rat, butcher/livestock, or witch/familiar

These four classes work great together or separately. You get a discount when you register for all four. Note: Some classes are slightly more expensive because they include live demonstrations with a demo bottom who is being paid for their work!

As with all Get Licked! classes, these classes and techniques are for consenting human adults only!

Registration is closed. Stay tuned for new classes and recordings by joining the newsletter here.

The Animal Inside: Finding Yourself in Petplay

Sunday May 4 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

So you’re a puppy: What do you want that to mean?

Or you’re a handler: What do you want to cultivate?

Or you’re a feral beast, hungry spider, talking crow, or bossy little: What does that look like in petplay?

This class, for beginner and experienced players alike, explores animal roleplay beyond pet/handler stereotypes. We’ll explore (and devise our own!) unusual scenarios and dynamics, build tools for developing our animal and handler personas, and practice getting into headspace. As always, participation is optional, but folks who’ve done these exercises in the past have found them extremely helpful to do and not just watch, so you’re strongly encouraged to practice live in our little community.

Training Human Pets

Sunday May 11 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

Training is an essential skill for any handler who likes an attentive pet, and any pet who loves doing a good job! This class begins with a rundown of training principles based on techniques for training real animals, with some fun twists for human use and live demos with a human puppy. Next, we’ll share tips for structuring fun, rewarding (or punishing!) training scenes, and we’ll explore kinky and regular-life scenarios where we can put our training to use.

The Cone Stays On: Intro to Veterinary Play

Sunday May 18 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

Medical fetishism, or medfet, uses tools, techniques, and scenarios from medical settings to create fantasy scenes and intense sensations. This class offers a smorgasbord of tools and ideas from medfet that can be applied to play with human pets. We’ll discuss scene ideas and planning, creative uses for medical supplies, and how to use sensory details to enhance our sense of realism, overwhelm, fear, or delight.

Collab Class: Handlers, Heifers, and Hooves: Intro to Cow Play with Dagger & Dio

Sunday May 25 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT

Cows are having a moment — and it’s high time they did! Cow play is a variant of petplay that’s getting some well-deserved attention, and Get Licked! instructor Dagger is teaming up with educator, handler, and real-life ranch hand Dio to explore it. We’ll ruminate on why we love this kink, how to build your headspace, gear for cows and handlers, and scenarios from grooming to milking to butchering to humiliation, with live demonstration of some favorite techniques.
